SOUTHASIA Online is in search for exciting and bold writers, those who are not shy to take on controversial and ground-breaking issues. We welcome contributions from new and upcoming authors, writers, critical thinkers, investigative reporters, academics, and journalists. If you find yourself in any - or all - of these categories, then SOUTHASIA Online is the place for you. Your article could be categorized into the following areas. On the domestic front, we are particularly interested in economic, political, and financial news items and events shaping the South Asian nations. It is important to point out that since we have a large readership in North America, it is important that stories have a South Asian and an U.S. significance. In our international coverage, we are interested in pieces on political, economic and social development around the world. Lastly, we strongly welcome pieces on critical theory, social dynamics, and other non-journalistic pieces which are more academic in nature. We are strongly looking for original research and scholarly analysis. Footnotes, Endnotes, and bibliographies are required to show that thorough research has been done on the topic. Graduate Students and Professors are most welcome to share their research materials and thoughts here. Book reviews, arts reviews, and cultural essays are also welcome.
